When I first came across the book,I was intrigued by the title of the book and I wondered what Khakey is and I became even more curious when I saw that the author is only 13 years old. So I read the book and understood that Khakey is a snow festival which is celebrated in the western part of Bhutan. I would like to celebrate Khakey if it also snows in the place where I live.
Khakey is a very beautiful tradition and we must all preserve the tradition.
The illustrations in the book are very interesting and beautiful,and the book is reader friendly. I would like to recommend this book to all my friends for it tells us about the beautiful tradition.
