Namgay Wangchuk

The writer is from eastern Bhutan, but lives and works in Thimphu. Beside this book, there is another published at the same time. He has also written columns for Kuensel, Bhutan’s national newspaper. Internationally in 2022, he has submitted a poem titled ‘not for bright future’ to the World Poetry Movement, based in Khathmandu, Nepal. They’ve selected it to feature in the anthology on the theme ‘madness’ which is about the dwindling care for the Earth. Apart from writing, he has been a people manager almost throughout his career thus far. This has given him the opportunity to interact with many people, which inspired him to write. So, it’s mostly based on people, life and work, both of others and his, through his lens and reflection. Of late, he has been a mindfulness trainer and practitioner too.
